Just a reminder...
Life coaching is often misunderstood. It is not psychotherapy or consulting, nor is it a substitute for personal responsibility. Unlike therapy, which focuses on past traumas and mental health, life coaching is about helping clients set and achieve goals in the present and future. A certified life coach recognizes the limits of their role and knows when to refer clients to qualified mental health professionals.
Family coaching begins by assessing the current dynamics of the family unit as well as envisioning their desired future. Some families seek guidance in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, aiming to enhance their relationships. Others might focus on several issues at once, while others may have a specific challenge they wish to address. Each 6 to 8 week program is tailored to the unique needs of the family, considering the ages and maturity levels of its members.
